InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya is a luxury five-star hotel featuring 203 rooms.
The scope of the project included full replacement of the hotel’s TV’s and upgrading of its community television reception system. For this project, BELTEL supplied 221 hotel TV sets from Samsung. All the works were performed when the hotel was fully booked, without disrupting its service or causing any inconvenience to its guests.
One of the advantages of the at-visions’ ONEsquareTM solution which BELTEL deployed at InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya is the centralized dynamic provisioning of the Apple TV service. The system supports interactive services in five languages: Russian, English, German, Spanish and Chinese.
“Engaging in a large-scale upgrading exercise, especially in a high season when the hotel is fully booked is always a tough decision. However, the fact that we were having out-of-date TV equipment on the cusp of 2018 FIFA World Cup moved us forward in deciding to replace our TVs and give an overhaul to our television reception system. Today, seeing what has been achieved, we don’t regret our decision: the hotel now has a state-of-the-art IPTV solution and a brand-new interactive television system offering our guests a full range of convenient and user-friendly information services.
